Digital Wizards respects the privacy of website visitors and ensures that the (personal) information you provide to us is treated confidentially. Data processing is carried out in a manner that complies with legal requirements.

Purposes of data processing

We process your personal data for the purpose of entering into and executing agreements for (online) marketing and analytics services and managing the resulting relationships, including carrying out activities aimed at expanding our customer base. We use Mailchimp to process the data entered via the forms. Data requested via forms on our website is necessary for various reasons. If the personal data is not provided, we cannot contact you or, in the case of a newsletter subscription, inform you about our services and activities.

If you fill out a contact, job application, or newsletter subscription form on the website, or send us an email, the data you send us will be stored. This is done for as long as the nature of the form or the content of your email requires for its complete response and processing. We apply the following retention periods:

Security

All data you exchange with Digital Wizards via our website is encrypted using SSL security based on the HTTPS protocol. Data you provide by filling out a form is stored in secure databases.

Traffic data and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track general visitor data and to analyze the effectiveness of our Google Ads campaigns on Google search result pages. The data is therefore used for statistical analyses of visitor and click behavior on the website. We also use this data to optimize the website’s performance.

We have a data processing agreement with Google. The statistical data is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in Europe and the United States. Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide us with reports about the website, and to provide Digital Wizards, as an advertiser, with information about the effectiveness of our campaigns. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or to the extent that these third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence over this.

We would like to explicitly point out that this data can never be traced back to you as a person or individual by Digital Wizards, except in situations where you identify yourself as a person via one of the forms on the website. This can happen, for example, by providing an email address when you sign up for the newsletter. In such cases, your browsing behavior can be linked to the information you provided.

The data collected by Digital Wizards is not shared with third parties.

Facebook and LinkedIn

This site includes buttons to promote or share pages on social networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn. These buttons are implemented using code provided by Facebook and LinkedIn themselves. This code places, among other things, a cookie (see above). Newsletter

We offer a newsletter—or plan to offer one in the future—through which we aim to regularly (up to 10 times a year) inform interested parties about news in the field of online marketing & custom websites, our services, and related topics. Your email address will only be added to the subscriber list with your explicit consent. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe. Your data will be retained until you unsubscribe. The newsletter subscriber list will not be shared with third parties.

Leadinfo (brand recognition)

Through Leadinfo, we process the IP addresses of business visitors to determine which company is visiting our website. We do not process any personal data that can be directly traced back to an individual visitor; identification is limited to the company level. A data processing agreement has been entered into with Leadinfo.

Profiling

Based on behavior on the website, marketing lists and profiles may be created so that we can show visitors relevant ads on other sites using marketing cookies. This allows you, as a visitor, to see relevant ads, as they are tailored to your previous behavior on the website. We hope this will allow us to inform you even better about our services and articles. This data cannot be traced back to a specific individual.

Data Processing Agreement

We have signed a data processing agreement with all companies that process our data. This agreement specifies, among other things, the purposes for which personal data may be processed and the security measures that must be implemented where the personal data is stored. It also stipulates that those who process the data must treat it confidentially and may not process it for any purpose other than that specified in the data processing agreement.
