For years, Kwekkeboom operated an outdated Joomla website that no longer met expectations. The website was slow, difficult to use, and no longer aligned with Kwekkeboom’s premium image. It was time to combine history, craftsmanship, and online techniques and integrate them into a revamped website.
For the new website—developed in collaboration with Stuurlui—a number of requirements were essential. The new Kwekkeboom website had to:
- Refer to Kwekkeboom’s rich history.
- Focusing on artisanal products.
- Providing a visual experience for the visitor.
- Informing and engaging visitors.
- Striking the right balance between design, content, and SEO.
